The Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world, truly a sight to behold. Construction of the Taj Mahal started in 1632 and completed  two decades later. It was constructed under the rule of king Shah Jahan in order to honor his recently deceased wife. Constructed of white marble and inlaid with jewels, this beautiful etifice reflects the love the king had for his dear wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
