We are four in family members. My husband and I are farmers by profession. Because of recent heavy rainfalls, all our crops have failed. So, at present we work as farm workers for landlords. Generally we make $2.7 per day and only if we have work that day. Overall we make $80 a month (Rs 4800/-) if we work hard together. We barely survive each month. Most of the times we have to take loans. We find hope in what we have but with Rice Love giving us 20 kilos of rice, it will provide food for our family for 20 days. We don’t have to spend for our food for those days. In fact, the rice you gave us is something that we never afforded to buy ourselves.
